Thanks to all of our great Rotarians (and friends of Rotarians) who came out and helped at BAK Welcome Ceremony and the recent Rotary Park Clean Ups; each of the folks that helped with these events deserves a BIG HAND CLAP!

Join us on Saturday, 20 May when we commemorate the lives and service to the community of three of our "career complete" Rotarians who have departed this Rotary year.
The ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m at the Tenth Avenue Park as we mark the planting of red oak trees for Dan Schilling, Ted Sexton, and George Berg, all long time members of the Leavenworth Rotary who contributed their sweat and service to a better community.
Our club will do our monthly park clean-up at 8:00 a.m that morning, so many of us will be there in our work clothes, helping to maintain the cleanliness of the park, a very fitting tribute to the types of service of these three Rotarians. I hope you can come out and join the families to celebrate their lives.

Congratulations to the Rotarians who turned out Saturday morning for monthly clean-up at 10th Avenue Park,a.k.a. Rotary Park.  Because of the good turn-out, the work load was evenly spread and the work done in about 40 minutes.  Thanks to Tony Kramer for organizing the clean-up.

A big kudos to Mike McDonald and his picnic committee for once again putting together an extremely successful event!
Our annual picnic was well attended; good food and fellowship was enjoyed by all in attendance.
Many thanks to all who participated and provided a covered dish to share with the group!
Hope to see everyone at our next meeting on Wednesday, 30 September!
NEXT UP:  Volunteers needed to support the bi-annual Saint Vincent Clinic Over-the-Counter Medicine Drive on Saturday, 17 October!!!

You can now search for a Rotary club with RI's free mobile app. In the Apple app store, Google Play, and BlackBerry App World, it's called the Rotary Club Locator from Rotary International.

The Rotary Club Locator app helps you find a Rotary club meeting when you're on the go.

  • The "Near Me" search locates clubs within a physical radius of 100 miles. (Note: Actual driving distances may be further.)
  • A keyword search for clubs. This search looks for the keyword in either the club name or meeting location address. This is useful for finding clubs that are outside of the 100-mile radius from your current location.
  • A map showing a club's location and driving directions
  • The ability to save search results to a list of favorite clubs
  • The ability to add a club to your phone's contact list
  • The club's website and primary phone number, if available
  • A search function to find clubs by district

To view club officer contact information, you must login into the app with your RI Member Access login information.
