Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA)

Committee Chair:   Ellen Bogdan

Objective:   Develop leadership skills and abilities, promote ethical behavior, and facilitate personal growth and self awareness. 

• Directed to high school students who will be sophomores, juniors and seniors the following school year
• Use another club's slot when possible.

Timeline:   Information packets delivered to local area high schools in late winter, selection early spring.  Academy is in early June.

What you can do to help:   Be a member of the selection committee.

We ask that the RYLA attendees come to LAYLC in the fall and speak to the junior high attendees. Works out very well. Threads that we do from Jr. High to High School...
